I was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada with a life long affair with aesthetics.
I think I was always meant to be working in a creative field, as I loved drawing, crafting, and staring at designs from a very young age. My mom was a true believer in following your passions and always pushed me to try new things and search for whatever brought me joy. And did I ever search. I tried everything from dance, to art, from social geography to photography. I struggled through school and through the loss of my mom. And along the path of life many things did bring joy. But, nowhere felt like home until I found yoga. It was there that I found myself, discovered that it was ok to be exactly as I was, and to begin to honour the light that had been there all along.
This is the feeling I want to bring to each client I work with. I want to support others along their path of discovery, to encourage you to do what you love. To allow the world to see the light within you - and to help combine your passion with your purpose. Does this sound like you?
My company name was born out of my time spent in Mexico and my love and respect for the culture and history that resides there. It comes from the mayan language and means - light within -
